Samuel J. Chiavetta Sr.
Of Brant, NY, entered into rest March 6, 2016, at age 90. Sam was the beloved husband of the late Margaret L. “Peg” Chiavetta; Loving father of Samuel J. Chiavetta Jr., Janice (Philip) Pericak and the late Michael Ley Chiavetta. Grandfather of Jennifer (William) Hill, Diana (Carlos) Sarmiento, Julianne (Willie) Reyes, Kathryn (Scott) Fujihara and Jonathan Pericak, and is also survived by 6 great grand children. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11 AM in St. Anthony's RC Church, Farnham, NY. Please assemble at church. Sam was a charter member of the Brant Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the National Grape C0-OP for over 60 years and member of the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Brant Volunteer Fire Department or Farnham Rescue Squad.
