Obituary of Warren A. Jensen

Jensen, Warren A. Of Angola, NY, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, in the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, he was 77. Beloved husband of Linda J. Jensen; loving father of Elizabeth (Edward) Herrmann, Susan (Timothy) Schnaufer, Cheryl and Keith Jensen. Also survived by 14 grand and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may call, Friday March 4, 2016 from 4PM- 8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, where prayers will be held Saturday at 10 AM followed by funeral services in the Eden United Methodist Church at 11 AM. (2820 Church St., Eden) Warren was a Life Member of the Angola Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as Company President in 1980, and 2002-2003, also holding the position of Secretary, Vice President, and Treasurer. He was also the Fire Department Chief from 1986-1989, and held the positions of, First Assistant Chief, Second Assistant Chief, and First Aid Captain. He was also the President of the Angola Fire Control Chiefs Assoc., a delegate for the Southwestern Assoc. of Fireman, serving as secretary, a member of Western Assoc. of Fireman, Erie Co. Volunteer Fireman’s Assoc. and Erie Co. Fire Chiefs Mutual Aid Org. Warren was the past Code Enforcement officer and Disaster Coordinator for the Village of Angola. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to either the Angola VFD or Hospice Buffalo, Inc.
