Formerly of Angola, NY, Entered into rest in the loving arms of his daughter, January 23, 2016 at age 88. Husband of the late Helen (Smith), Martha (Smith), Ruth (Czuprynski) and Frances (Savage); dearest father of Mary (late Donald) Hillman, Steven Schiffmaker and the late Walter G. Schiffmaker III and Beverly Marsh; step father of,Judith Studer, Rose Bell, Patricia Dukat, Jerome Czuprynski, Jeremy Schiffmaker and Kevin Savage; also survived by 14 grandchildren A special “Thank You” to the staff at Northgate Manor and Clare Bridge for your wonderful care. Family will be present to receive friends Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where prayers will be said Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola NY
Walter was a veteran of the US Navy and retired master mechanic with Pillsbury Foods.
