Pam and I were saddened to her of Edel's passing. We have many good memories of her when I was pastor of First Church of Evans from 1991-96 I especially remember her hard work when there was an annual rummage sale at First church. I know Pam got to know her a bit better when Pam was a home care aide for her mother. We, send our prayers, and condolences to the family May good memories, God's comfort and promise be with you all at this time.

Edel was a friend when she took care of my uncle at BGH, a scouting friend, and a school friend. Edel was kind, fair, hard working, and really intuitive. She will be deeply missed. God Bless the Vail family. Remember she is with you, over the horizon.

I will always remember visiting aunt Edel and going to the beach. She was truly the “hostess with the mostest” and always welcomed anyone and everyone to come hang out at the beach. She was a strong woman, who raised a strong woman and several strong men. Her legacy lives on through her siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all that knew and loved her. It was a pleasure being her great niece and I am lucky to have had her in my life. Even though she wasn’t my grandmother, she was always by my grandmas side at family events and I know she will miss her dearly. I hope she is already reunited with her beloved husband, uncle Frank and her loving parents. I will miss her so much.
Love, Sarah

I’ll always remember the beach parties with Aunt Edel on the 4th of July. Lots of memories were made during those parties. I won’t forget about the Christmas parties that she worked so hard to put on with my grandmother. You will always be in our hearts, Aunt Edel.
